The Entreq System
Energy Transforming Equipment, working as one.
No single product makes a system whole. Each Entreq product answers a different part of the same question, and each works best alongside the others. Understanding how they fit together – and the order in which to introduce them – is the key to realising everything your system is capable of.
A comprehensive approach to improving system performance
The principle behind the Entreq System is straightforward. The effect of Entreq products is cumulative. Each step prepares the ground for the next, and it is when our products are working together, as a coherent system, that the result becomes something far greater than any single product could achieve on its own.
This is a guide to the Entreq System: what each product does, where it belongs, and how to build towards a complete Entreq setup over time.
The system at a glance
A complete Entreq setup is built in four main stages, each laying the groundwork for the one that follows:
- Grounding — establishing a clean, stable reference at the component level.
- Entry points — stopping interference at the threshold, before it ever reaches the signal.
- Connections — carrying the signal cleanly between components through a prepared environment.
- Environment — shaping the electromagnetic field around the components themselves.
You do not need to arrive at the full system in a single step. Each stage delivers a clear benefit in its own right, and each makes the next more effective when you are ready to take things further.
Start with grounding
Ground Boxes were among the first products we ever released. We have always led the way on this aspect of improving your system performance and what has followed is a huge range of grounding products on the market from a range of manufacturers. This is for a good reason. It is quite simply the first and most important step in preparing your environment for your equipment to deliver the very best performance.

Offering a clean and stable reference for your equipment to measure against is the basis from which all our subsequent products can make greater improvements to your system.
Micro Box, Macro Box & Macro Twin Kit, Silver Tellus, Tellus 3 and our Olympus grounding boxes draw noise away from your components before anything else is addressed. A component working against a clean reference behaves differently from one that is not, and that difference is audible the moment it is in place. With the reference settled, the music sits on a quieter, more stable footing.
This is why grounding comes first. It changes the character of the system itself, which is precisely what allows each later stage to do more.
Settle the entry points
With components grounded, attention turns to where interference arrives from the outside world. The point at which noise from the mains supply and from your network enters the system is where Magneus does its work.

Magneus Signal is designed to be placed between your network and your router. Magneus Power, or the more capable Magneus Supreme, to sit between the wall and your power distribution. The thinking is simple: noise stopped at the threshold never reaches the signal in the first place. Rather than managing interference once it has entered the chain, Magneus helps reduce this interference before it arrives.
It’s important to mention here that with all Entreq products, experimentation is key. While we use Magneus primarily at the entry points to the system, you can experiment with, for example, placing a Magneus Power between your amp and speakers for a surprising jump in performance.
The reality is that there are too many variables at play in a system and in that system’s environment for any one product or indeed placement of a product to be the definitely right choice. We encourage you to speak to your closest Entreq retailer and trial equipment in your own system to find what works for you.
Let the connections do their work
With the system grounded and its entry points settled, the connections between your components can more effectively do what they were designed to do.
The design of our most recent cable system came from a single realisation: the signal does not travel through the conductor, but through the electromagnetic field surrounding it. What happens in that field, in and around your equipment, matters more than almost anything else. Our latest Energy Reference System cable ranges, Delphius and Primer Core, are built from the ground up around this principle.
Each ERS cable is supplied with a Corepoint unit. Corepoint Signal with analogue, digital and speaker cables and Corepoint Power with our power cables. The Corepoint unit acts as a stable reference point for signal ground – the zero against which the signal is measured – between the components the cable connects. Together, Corepoint, the ERS wire and the conductors hold the signal coherent across the length of the cable.

In a system that has already been grounded and had its entry points settled, your cables, whether they are our latest ERS cables, earlier Entreq cables featuring EEDS or any other cables you have in your system – they are no longer fighting a noisy environment. They are able to simply carry the signal cleanly through an environment that has been prepared for them allowing them to perform their best.
With our Delphius and Primer Core cables, your investment is never a dead end either. Every Corepoint can be taken further with the addition of a Entreq Max Posts, allowing you to lift the performance of the same cables over time, easily, and without reinvesting in new ones.
Refine the electromagnetic environment
From here, we can look at the electromagnetic environment around the components in the system.
- Protectus can be placed beneath components.
- Vibbeaters can be used for a more targeted effect and placed in specific positions on top of components.
- MaxMix T2 is attached to the speaker binding posts.
These are our Electromagnetic Field Transformers, and they work in a way that is easy to misread. A Vibbeater placed over an amplifier’s AC inlet can often do more than the same Vibbeater on a speaker, where you might expect its mass to be doing the work. The mass is not the deciding factor. It is the mineral mixture, with its inherent magnetic properties, that influences the signal — without ever physically touching the audio chain. These products are designed for the express purpose of shaping the field in which they are placed, and they are extremely effective at it.
Introduced once the rest of the system is in place, they refine and further improve what is already a clean and coherent presentation.
The cumulative effect
This is the heart of how Entreq works. When you add Entreq products to a system, it’s optimal to take the approach outlined above. But that is not to say that you can’t try any of our products in isolation.
Any one of these stages will improve your system on its own, and we know that the performance boost is cumulative as you go further. There is no definitive “best” route because every system, every component and every environment is different and complex in unique ways. This is before we even start talking about listener preferences. But when used together, as a coherent whole, the approach outlined above will let your components deliver everything they are capable of. And this has always been the purpose behind everything we make.
Experience Entreq for yourself
The surest way to understand the Entreq System is to hear it. We always recommend trialling our products in your own system, where the difference each makes will be immediately apparent.
